With a workforce of over 150,000 nurses and midwives, accounting for more than half of the total number of officials and workers in the healthcare sector in Vietnam, managing this nursing workforce requires a system of competent nursing management and leadership with high requirements for expertise, professional skills, and good management skills.

After its first term, facing many difficulties and challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, complex natural disasters, strong transformations in training, digital transformation, and related regulations and policies on nursing, the Vietnam Chief Nursing Officers Club has overcome these challenges, actively exploiting advantages and leveraging the attention and support from all levels, sectors, and units to successfully implement the resolutions of the First Congress.
